How I Work

An embodied, attuned approach to trauma healing

No two people are the same

Which means no two sessions look exactly alike. What we work with, how deep we go, and the pace that fits best — I attune all of this carefully to you. There’s no fixed structure or roadmap. What there is: presence, slowing down, and space for whatever wants to be seen.

We begin by slowing down

Most people who come to me spend a lot of time in their heads. They’ve read, talked, reflected — but still feel that something inside remains stuck. Something that doesn’t shift through words alone.

That’s why we start by slowing down. Making contact with your body, your breath, and whatever is present in you right now. From that slowing down, a natural doorway opens to the deeper layers of your system.

Sometimes it starts with an image, a thought, or a physical sensation. Sometimes with silence. Or with something you can’t quite name. Whatever it is — we meet it together, gently and without judgment.

Two paths toward healing

In my work, I draw from a variety of approaches, depending on what your system needs in the moment. Two methods often take center stage:

Being with What Is

This practice offers structure and gentle guidance without being directive. Together, we slow down and make space for what wants to be felt — tension, sadness, inner child parts, or old protection strategies. Often, memories surface — sometimes clear, sometimes vague impressions from long ago.

We work with whatever arises. Through words, reflection, and inner child work, you get the chance to meet old experiences and hold them with compassion. This approach helps deepen your body awareness and build a strong internal foundation. You can also learn to practice it on your own, without my guidance.

This way of working is especially supportive if you:

  • have difficulty feeling what’s going on inside you
  • tend to analyze or try to control your experience
  • get overwhelmed easily by emotions
  • are looking for a gentle and structured way to approach trauma
Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a deep, body-led approach where we let the body lead — without directing or interpreting the process. It’s not about understanding or explaining; your system knows what needs to be seen, and it unfolds at its own pace.

We follow eye positions, body sensations, and the natural self-regulation capacity of your nervous system. This often reaches layers that words can’t access — such as developmental trauma or preverbal experiences.

Brainspotting is especially helpful when:

  • words feel overwhelming or insufficient
  • your system carries a deep sense of unsafety
  • you already have insights, but feel something is still stuck on a deeper level
  • your body is ready to guide the process without interference from the mind

What you can expect from me

I don’t work with fixed protocols, but with presence and attunement. We move with your system. Sometimes the process is quiet, sometimes intense, sometimes clear and focused — and sometimes there’s space for laughter too. Everything is welcome.

My role is not to fix you, but to create a safe space in which you can meet yourself. Not by pushing or forcing, but by being precise and fully present. Not within the safety of routine — but not beyond it either, where survival strategies take over. It’s at the edge of the unknown that real movement happens.

What Characterizes My Coaching

  • Flexible and attuned, without losing a clear structure
  • Simple language, slowed down and inviting
  • An environment where silence is just as powerful as words
  • A slowed-down pace, with deep somatic attunement before anything ‘content-related’ happens
  • Entirely focused on the here and now, without a predefined theme — a pure embodiment of the principle: we begin where you are
  • When needed: clear structure and grounding (posture, contact points, breath) — which works especially well for people new to body-based work or those who find it challenging to let go
